Wherry Guestbook

Here are guestbook entries from people who have been on Albion in 2010.

Nigel Hughes - Summer 2010

There can be few experiences that better capture the magic of the Norfolk Broads more than a voyage on Albion. She is synonymous with the area and its rich boating heritage - a peerless icon of the finest values of the region. We have long respected the valuable work done by the Norfolk Wherry Trust in keeping Albion afloat but what we didn't realise was the outstanding professionalism and skills of the teams who sail her. Throughout the last summer our groups have sailed on Albion and have gained a huge amount from the experience. Team building, raising self esteem and confidence, communications skills, leadership and above all else having a fantastic day, the memories of which will last forever. The friendliness of the crew allied to their extensive knowledge of the area, its history and environmental issues make for a fascinating insight into the Norfolk Broads. This has got to be one of the best value days out in Britain! Thank you to everyone involved - we will be back next year and the years after! From everyone at Birkenhead YMCA

Jean Jackman - July 2010

Thank you very much for a brilliant day on the Wherry, superb crew of Chris Phil and Trevor, every one enjoyed themselves very much, this is our second trip and we are looking forward to the third. If anyone is looking for a good day out I would throughly recommend a Wherry trip you will be entertained by the wildlife, photographed by every passing cruiser, but finish your day very relaxed and happy.

Nick Neider - May 2010

Watford North Explorer Scout Unit had a great weekend a board Albion and 4 half deckers from the Hunters Heritage Fleet. 24 of our young people and leaders got the opportunity to sail on all the different boats, whilst we visited Upton, South Walsham and Ranworth Boards. The weather was great and it was a really sight to see all of the boats under full sail coming down the Thurne. Many thanks go to David our Skipper and his Mate Kevin who really helped to make the trip work so well.
