Here are guestbook entries from people who have been on Albion in 2012.
Viola Frost / Betty Flood - September - 2012
Our trip on the Albion had been postponed from mid May, when weather conditions were far from ideal, until the glorious morning of the 4th of September. Many thanks to Trevor for his help with our booking, and for giving some that should have known better, help with their life jackets! The weather conditions were perfect and as we sailed peacefully along the experience was almost magical. Grateful thanks to Paul & Daniel, our crew, who gave us such a memorable day, patiently answering our numerous questions, assisting one of our party, Elsa Cross, with steering the Albion and even saying all the right things about the cakes we'd made for the occasion!
Trevor Hipperson - July - 2012
Many thanks to skipper Roger, trainee skipper Peter and mate Phil for organising the weather and looking after us on a beautiful July day! We had a mixture of wherry "newbies" and old hands and all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The tuition on the tiller was particularly well received. Thanks once again from all of the charter party and to Caroline for supplying the photograph.
Kingsley Elliff - May - 2012
This was a present for my 59th birthday and it was very enjoyable. An excellent way to spend a day very relaxing. After a short safety briefing we set off on the Wherry , cheating a little being propelled by a small motor until there was sufficient wind forthe sail. This is where this magnificent vessell really comes into it's own, gliding effortlessly along the rivers of the Broads. After a nice stop for lunch we were offered the chance to go int the dinghy and circle the Wherry getting an impressive view of her from water level, a must do, a great sight. Another must is to take a turn at steering, not an easy task and suprisingly physical but very satisfying. The day sped by with never a dull moment. Many thanks to all the crew and support.
