The Norfolk Wherry Trust was founded in 1949 by enthusiastic amateurs with the sole intention of saving an example of the Norfolk Wherry. It has been run by volunteers ever since on a ‘not for profit’ charitable basis. We have recently updated this website to enable us to communicate our passion to a wider audience and offer our services more accessibly. We will do our utmost to behave in a responsible and businesslike way and treat our customers with respect. We ask that the users of our site and services treat us in the same way. These terms apply to all users of this website. If you do not accept these terms you should stop using the website immediately. Your continued use confirms acceptance of these terms.

We will not divulge any private or personal details to anyone else nor will we sell or dispose of our membership or customer listings.

If you wish to purchase any goods from our online shop or charter the wherry Albion – either electronically or by mail – you may only do so if you are over 18yrs of age and have the means to pay on demand for goods obtained or services contracted and agree that you will abide by any contractual agreements to pay deposits and payments when due. If you do make a purchase from our online shop that you are dissatisfied with, we will either exchange it upon return of the item/s or refund the purchase price, together with any postage incurred – provided dissatisfaction is brought to our notice within 14 days of purchase and the item is returned in the same condition as originally purchased.

External links are carried in good faith, however if you are dissatisfied with any service provided by any linked business or organisations advertised on this website, then you must seek satisfaction from that business or organisation. No responsibility is accepted by Norfolk Wherry Trust.

If you submit photographs to our site we reserve the right to refuse material. We take submission of photographs as an act that grants copyright of the photographs to Norfolk Wherry Trust to use as it sees fit. If you contribute to our ‘guestbook’ page we reserve the right to edit or refuse material. All material on this site is protected by copyright. You may only reproduce, copy or download for your own personal use. Reproduction on any other website, use for gain, or commercial purposes, is forbidden unless you gain prior written consent.
