Volunteer's World

21/10/17: Our Volunteer's World is now On Facebook.

To relieve the dependance on a small number of contributors updating our website we've decided to suspend the News and Volunteer's World sections and instead will use Facebook for all updates.

This decision will enable all our supporters, members and followers to view, comment and add contributions to our Facebook page.

nb Whilst you don't need to have an account with Facebook to be able to view our page, you will need an account to make contributions.

Want to have a look ? Click here to view.

(If you don't have a Facebook account you will almost certainly be "prompted" to create one but you should find a "Not Now" option to remove the prompt !).

All other areas of our website will continue to be updated.

09/04/16 : Man Overboard Training

Apart from sail training our crew also have to refresh their skills in such things as first aid, use of fire extinguisers and man overboard procedures. Today it was MOB and once again we thank Mark Elson for donning his wet-suite to be our "tame charterer" who has contrived to fall overboard. This is a thankless task and almost certainly results in the odd bruise while our crew get the hang of hauling him aboard the safetry dinghy, we do appreciate it Mark, honest !

Easy does it ! That wasn't too bad - was it ?
Mind my head !
