Songs and Song Sheets

Traditional songs are part of the social history of wherries and the life of wherrymen.  Five examples are presented below.  All the songs are provided and performed by Alan Helsdon.

The audios are all in .mp3 format and will require an audio player that can support MP3 files on your own computer. Some browsers such as Chrome and Edge have integrate audio players, others such as IE may ask you to “Open” or “Save” after “clicking”, select the “Open” option to listen to the song.

The song sheets are all .pdf files and will require a reader that can support Adobe Acrobat files on your own computer.
