Wherries in Literature

This is a personal project of one of our supporters, Alan Helsdon, to create a database of references to wherries in literature.

He has been trawling through all the books he can get his hands on that have information about wherries, wherrymen etc for some time now but, as the task has developed, the enormity of the project has become clear.  As such we are making available what Alan has discovered to date via the “links” pane on the right. This will be updated from time to time.

If anyone has rare or unusual material and is prepared either to search it or loan it for research please let Alan know.
